Salamanca parks are the most enjoyable spots where you can jog, stroll, have a pic nic or simply have a rest.

Parque de San Francisco:
It is the oldest park of Salamanca. It is characterised by stone fountains, sculpture and lush vegetation with 600 poplars dating back to 1828. Enjoy the amazing view over the Cathedral, the Clerecía, the Monterrey Palace, and the Convent of the Úrsulas.

Huerto de Calixto e Melibea
It is one of the loveliest park of the city. It is located upon the ancient city wall and you can enjoy a wonderful view over the River Tormes the Cathedral. Have a walk in this quiet and romantic park.

Parque de la Alamedilla
It offers a great variety of trees as flowers as well as a lovely lake with ducks paddling around. Nose around and you will discover a little aviary and a tiny zoo.

Parque de los Jesuitas
It is the biggest park and it is located in the heart of the city. Have a walk through its path, have a rest near the lake. If you like sports you will find lots of opportunities! It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the nature and have a break from the city life
